WebPlay Wins Education Resource Awards!

WebPlay is delighted to announce that we have won the prestigious Education Resource Awards 2011 for 21st Century Learning. The award honours the UK’s most outstanding educational resources, suppliers, educators and institutions. The awards are sponsored by BESA and all winners were selected by a large independent panel of experienced educational professionals.
WebPlay's Executive Director, Sydney Thornbury, (pictured above, centre) said 'We want to thank the judges of the Education Resource Awards for recognizing the importance of arts education in our schools. We also want to thank all of the wonderful teachers and kids that bring our projects to life.'

WebPlay Nominated for Education Resource Awards!

WebPlay is thrilled to announce that we have been nominated for the Education Resource Awards 2011. The award honours the UK’s most outstanding educational resources, suppliers, educators and institutions. WebPlay has been nominated for the 21st Century Learning Environment Award.
Sydney Thornbury, WebPlay’s Executive Director, says ‘We are so honoured to have been nominated for the Education Resource Awards and to have our work recognized amongst the UK’s best. Not only is it a great validation of our work, but also of the importance of arts education in schools’.
Winners will be announced at the annual gala event at The Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on Friday 18 March, the second evening of the Education Show 2011. So check back soon!
