For schools

“If WebPlay were the first thing they did every morning, we’d have 100% average daily attendance”

What we can do for you

Getting students excited about learning is one of the most important aspects of teaching. Our interactive and educational programmes were created with this in mind, meaning that children are enthusiastic about their own learning.

Not only this, but our carefully planned projects are linked closely with the core requirements of the National Curriculum. Through drama and technology, we help children not only develop their literacy, drama, numeracy and ICT skills but also build on their knowledge of History, Geography and Citizenship.

We provide the ideas, resources and training

Students aren’t the only ones who can benefit from WebPlay, we also ensure that teachers get the most out of our projects too.

We provide teachers with full training in ICT and drama, plus all the support and educational materials you need, including step-by-step lesson plans, worksheets, online films and audio and information for parents.

Safe, secure and unique

The websites we use are secure and for students and teachers only – one of these is ThinkQuest, which enables students and teachers to exchange ideas with drama professionals and communicate with partner schools across the world.

We give your class the opportunity to work with theatre professionals. Our practitioners are on hand to provide you with plenty of support and answer your questions via phone, email and in-person visits.

Building bridges

WebPlay launched in January 2000 with six schools from London and Los Angeles. Since then, over 200 schools and 20,000 children have taken part in our projects across the UK, the US and India.
